Jose Dangtayan (Guitar)
Born
and raised on Molokai, Jose picked up the ukulele in the 7th grade and
started playing music in the 8th grade when he first played Mr. Ha'o's
12-string guitar.
Jose played in a few bands on Molokai (Hawaiian and Metal, "mean combination ah for Molokai!") and is also a member of the traditional Hawaiian Music group Mo'opuna. He currently resides in Santa Clara, CA.
I've lived in California for over 10 years, but Moloka'i will always be my home. I love the people, the laid back style, the hunting, diving, and fishing, and let's not forget, Hotbread after 10pm!
Favorite drink: Double Grey Goose on the rocks w/ a twist!
Other interest: Snowboarding, bodyboarding, softball, golf.
